Education for All
Sunaayy is committed to ensuring that every child—regardless of background—has access to meaningful learning opportunities that build a strong foundation for the future.
Bridging Education Gaps: Our curriculum integrates art and storytelling to make learning joyful, engaging, and impactful—helping children grasp concepts in a more relatable way.
Creative Learning through Art and Storytelling: Use art and stories to make learning engaging and impactful.
Festive and Cultural Learning: We celebrate festivals through interactive sessions that help children understand cultural values, foster inclusivity, and strengthen community bonds.
Women Empowerment
We believe empowered women empower communities. At Sunaayy, we support local women by providing skills, confidence, and opportunities to become agents of change.
Teacher Training & Capacity Building: We train women from underserved communities to become educators and community leaders through structured programs that include:
Digital literacy and financial inclusion
Leadership development and spoken English
Yoga for holistic well-being and classroom integration
Community Leadership Development: We nurture leadership potential by encouraging women to actively participate in addressing local issues—promoting self-reliance, confidence, and a sense of purpose.
Nourishment & Well-being
Meals for Learning: In partnership with Food for the Hungry and other donors, we ensure daily nourishment to support children’s health and focus.
Health and Hygiene Awareness: We educate children and families on personal hygiene, sanitation, and preventive healthcare.
Yoga for Mind and Body: We conduct regular sessions for children by trained teachers to enhance mental well-being and concentration.
Drug awareness: In partnership with experts, we conduct awareness sessions to educate children—especially those at risk—about the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of making healthy choices.
Sustainability & Skill Development
Our programs aim to empower women and children through practical skills rooted in sustainability, enabling them to become self-reliant while playing a vital role in environmental protection.
Environmental Awareness & Water Conservation: Interactive sessions are conducted regularly to educate children about sustainable practices, including water conservation, waste segregation, tree plantation and mindful consumption.
Coaster Art Initiative: This initiative blends creativity with eco-consciousness. Using recycled newspapers and papier-mâché techniques, teachers craft beautiful coasters featuring traditional Alpana designs—celebrating heritage while promoting reuse.
Block printing with natural dyes: Our teachers are trained in eco-friendly block printing methods, creating motifs on dupattas and tablecloths using natural dyes. This not only sustains traditional art forms but also introduces green enterprise ideas.
Leaf plate and bowls: Children are introduced to age-old sustainable practices by learning how to make plates and bowls from dried leaves—encouraging a return to earth-friendly living.
